Look was founded in Nevers, France, in 1951, starting out in ski bindings. In 1984 it changed cycling with the first clipless pedal.

The story
The pedal, then the frame.
Bernard Hinault's La Vie Claire team won the 1985 Tour de France on Look's PP65 pedals, and clipless became the standard. A year later Greg LeMond won his first Tour on a Look carbon frame.
Look has partnered with the French national team since 1987. Its P24 track bike helped France to seven medals, three of them gold, at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
